New solid municipal waste recycling facilities will be created in Kuzbass by the end of 2027. Thus, the volume of recycling will be doubled. Investments will exceed 20 billion rubles.
From 2024 to 2026 on the territory of the ecoindustrial park «Prigorodniy» in Kemerovo municipal district infrastructure will be created to accommodate small and medium-sized enterprises. It is planned to invest at least 500 million rubles in the construction of engineering networks of electricity supply, water supply, water disposal, heat supply.
By the middle of 2026 a corrugated cardboard packaging plant with a capacity of 120 million square meters will be launched at the «Prigorodny». The project worth 6 billion rubles will create the closed cycle productionp of eco-friendly packaging.
By the end of 2027 it is planned to put into operation the third stage of the waste paper processing plant with the capacity of 200 thousand tons of paper and cardboard per year. Investments in the new enterprise are estimated at 14 billion rubles. The total amount of waste paper utilization will reach 350 thousand. tons per year.
