On June 26 an introductory tour at Kuzbasskiy SKARABEY plant took place. The participants were students of Institute of Chemical and Oil and Gas Technologies of Kuzbass Polytechnic University who are studying in the field of «Technosphere safety» specializing in environmental engineering. The group was observing the process of making paper and cardboard from waste paper.
Apart from recycling technology itself students were interested in engineering systems aimed at protecting the environment from adverse industrial impacts, for example, wastewater treatment systems. Guys were told that now Kuzbasskiy SKARABEY uses treatment system of the neighbouring enterprise «AZOT» but already this year construction of its own treatment facilities will start. This will allow to return to the production cycle up to 70% of water.
