The regional stage of Russian Open Youth Water Competition – 2024 took place in Kemerovo on the base of «Kuzbass Natural-Scientific Centre «Yunnat». It was attended by schoolchildren and students studying water bodies and problems of their protection.
Competition projects were considered by the competent jury which along with representatives of specialized departments and universities for the first time included young scientists from the 11th grade schoolchildren.
The winners of the regional stage of the competition were recognized 2 projects: «Development of magnetic carbon oil sorbent for spill collection» and «Ecological condition of the Evseevka River on the territory of the Kirovskiy district of Kemerovo».
The regional stage winners will present their projects at All-Russian Competition.
