On July 28 in Novokuznetsk Fssistat to President of Russia Maksim Oreshkin and Governor of Kuzbass Sergey Tsivilev met with heads of leading regional enterprises in industry, trade, tourism. The meeting discussed issues of socio-economic development of the region.
General Director of Kuzbasskiy SKARABEY Dmitriy Razuvaev shared experience in implementing a large-scale investment project to create production of innovative cardboard and paper with antimicrobial properties from waste paper «KDM-2» which had been realized in 2022. He also presented the project of further industrial platform development until the year 2029.
In accordance with the new project it’s planned to build one more paper and cardboard mill and a corrugation factory. Production scaling implies creating at least 500 jobs and increased tax contributions to 1.5 billion per year.
The project has powerful multiplicative effect for the region due to the involvement of other branches of the economy: machine-building, building, chemical and it also demonstrates the cluster approach possibilities in terms of achieving realization of technological sovereignty projects.
At the same time there are some difficulties in realization such as availability of affordable finance and shortage of staff. Dmitriy Razuvaev laid out his vision of the key ways to overcome them.
