October 26 (the fourth Thursday of October) in Russia celebrates World Paper Free Day. The landmark date occurred during the period of holding the massive All-Russian waste paper collecting campaign «BoomBattle» this year.
Within the framework of the campaign Kuzbass people keep taking waste paper to Kuzbasskiy SKARABEY plant. It is supplied both directly and through intake points of the campaign. Paper and cardboard is brought by volunteers, locals, educational organizations participate as well.
Since the All-Russian campaign «BoomBattle» began over 70 thousand people all over the country has joined waste paper collecting to recycle about 400 tons of materials.
