According to tradition Kuzbasskiy SKARABEY joined the city ecological-educational action «Green tram» on June 3 in Kemerovo.
Annually on World Environment Day and Russian Ecologist Day in Kemerovo an action «Green tram» is held organized by Department for Environmental Protection of the City of Kemerovo with the support of the Kemerovo Electric Transport Company. This year it was held within the framework of All-Russian Environmental Protection Days.
Young ecologists – kindergartners, pupils, students and their educators as well – told passengers why it is important to collect household waste separately and where to take sorted waste, including paper. The acquired knowledge supported the quiz and brand baseball caps by Kuzbasskiy SKARABEY.
«Green trams» with environmental information placed in salons will run on all five city routs during the summer.
