On April, 19 in Kemerovo the municipal stage of the regional competition «Family. Ecology. Culture» took place. 22 families including 8 large families participated in it. Waste paper recycling plant «Kuzbasskiy SKARABEY» presented special cards for family vacation in Kemerovo «Park of Wonders» to all the participants.
Participating families presented interesting and worthy projects in creative form: old things recycling, trees planting, taking care of homeless animals, relict forest preserving. According to the tradition within the framework of the competition there was an exhibition of handicrafts from natural materials and secondary resources. The Kurjats and the Samasyuks won the Grand Prix. In the final of the competition in May they will compete with another 10 families from other territories of Kuzbass.

The founder of the competition is the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Kuzbass, the organizers of the municipal stage are the administration of Kemerovo, The Cultural Centre and Central School of Arts. The main goal of the contest is to increase the level of environmental culture and careful attitude to the environment.
