Antibacterial paper (ABB) is an innovative product with a patented technology with no analogs in Russia. Our company's specialists and researchers at the Institute of Food Industry of Kemerovo State University created this product with the support of the Innovation Promotion Fund under its Development and Commercialization programs. To process standard paper grades Б-2 and Б-3 we use safe for humans and the environment biocide that prevents and represses the development of pathogenic microflora, fungus, and mold spores inside the package and on the surface of products. We use this biocide to manufacture aseptic packaging, corrugated packaging with improved characteristics, and also as an independent packaging material. Corrugated packaging from antibacterial paper better retains the original characteristics of food products and extends the shelf life. This paper significantly expands the potential of corrugated board producers and works as an additional competitive advantage. Antibacterial paper is the winner of the Kuzbass Brand 2020 competition in the Best Innovative Product nomination.
